- PHOENIX REMOTE COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM DECEMBER 4, 1987
-
- 10.0 EXTENDED KEYS EXPLAINED
- Phoenix also has some special "extended" keys for special use
- by the sysop.
-
- 10.1 AVAILABLE KEYS
-
- "Home" - Displays a help Screen
- "PageDn" - Abort a Download
- "PageUp" - Abort an Upload
- "Down-Arrow"- User statistics in Full Screen mode
- (the arrow on the 2 key on the number pad)
-
- 10.2 EXTENDED KEYS AVAILABLE
-
- "Home Key"
- -----------
- Displays a quick summary of all of the keys available to the
- sysop.
-
- NOTE: When you press this key, the user will loose
- control of his keyboard until the window is removed.
-
- "PageDn"
- ----------
- Aborts a Download. This can be used in a security violation
- or when you simply don't want the user to download a file
- for whatever reason, or if you simply want the
- computer and don't want to wait, press the pgdown then
- f8 and he will be logged off before his download
- window exits. When abort is pressed, it sends an abort
- signal to the user's terminal program. If his program is
- smart enough, it will recognize the abort and stop the
- download on his end.
-
- "PageUp"
- ----------
- Aborts an Upload. Operates exactly the same as PageDn except
- this is for uploads.
-
- "Down Arrow" (on the 2 key on keypad)
- -------------------------------------
- When in full screen mode, you do not have the user status
- window at the top. This key will dump to the screen most
- of the same information including the status of the toggles.
- If used when no one is online, it will dump the status of the
- toggles (page, lptr, sysop-next, bell).
- This key can only be used in full screen (not in window) mode.
